If you want to work with me so that you can lose weight, please be reassured that you’re in very safe hands! I know that a lot of people, the sensible ones at least, have very reasonable reservations about buying some stuff off the internet that they then inject into themselves, without any direct supervision at the time that they inject it. Please let me convince you that I will look after you, and keep you safe.

I work as an obesity physician (weight loss doctor!) in two separate NHS weight management services, serving a combined population of around a million people, alongside my private work.

I have degrees in both medicine and nutrition, and I have additional qualifications in obesity medicine, notably SCOPE certification which is the only internationally recognised obesity qualification to date.

I’m a graduate of the prestigious World Obesity Federation Leadership Training Programme. I was selected as one of only six successful applicants globally for the first cohort of this training in 2022, and the World Obesity Federation kindly flew me around the world ensuring that I got the best training possible from world experts, including time observing at the world famous Cleveland Clinic obesity centre which transformed the way that I practice.

I’m an international conference speaker and published author on the subject of weight management, and I have featured in a number of TV programmes on BBC and ITV among others, and was on Panorama talking about weight loss medication in January 2024.

I’m trusted to train colleagues. I have been the Royal College of GPs obesity champion, during which time I led a programme training twenty of my colleagues to become experts in weight management themselves, and I continue to teach at the obesity and weight management course at my local University as well as arranging other educational events and speaking/teaching on webinars and at conferences frequently. I also work for some private weight loss companies advising them about the latest evidence regarding weight management.
