Getting Your Medication

At The Freedom Clinic, we want you to have the best possible experience as one of our highly valued customers, so we try to make it as easy as possible for you to have the medication that you need while also providing you the highest quality care.

YOUR CONSULTATION WITH US

All of our patients have a consultation with a doctor before having a prescription for weight loss medication. This is done remotely by video.

If you’re not sure whether medication is the right thing for you, then please do read through all the information in this section of our site and contact us if you still have any questions after that. We will answer all your questions by replying to your message.

Once you are ready to proceed, simply book an appointment with one of our doctors. You will be asked to pay for your appointment at time of booking, and the cost of the appointment will include the price of your first pen. If you decide to not proceed then we can automatically refund you the price of the pen.

YOUR WEIGHT LOSS PRESCRIPTION

Immediately after your consultation our doctor will send your prescription to our supplier who will send the medication to your address. If it’s for Mounjaro or Wegovy then it will need to be kept refrigerated during transportation, and someone needs to be at the delivery address to receive the medication and transfer it to your refrigerator as soon as possible. This does take a couple of working days, just because of the need for refrigeration, and all medication suppliers have this constraint. Our delivery times are essentially the same as other suppliers.

A week or two before your next prescription is due, we will send you a questionnaire asking how it’s going, and what you want to do next. You can opt to increase or decrease your medication, stay on the same dose or make an appointment to talk to our doctor if you wish.  We will send you a link to pay for your next pen, and assuming that everything is straightforward and we receive your payment then we will issue the next pen based on a review of your questionnaire.

If you opt to talk to a doctor first and you would prefer to wait until after that before paying for your next pen then that’s fine. You can make payment at any time after your consultation and we will process your prescription quickly once we have received payment.

If there’s anything on your questionnaire that we would like to clarify before issuing a prescription then we will contact you in plenty of time for us to get the information that we need in order to get your medication to you without any worry about missing or delaying a dose.
